Meet the Brass Caption Head!

The White Sabers are excited to announce that Randall Bennett will take on the role of Brass Caption Head for the 2020 season! Randall has spent the past two seasons working with the brass section at White Sabers and was elevated to Assistant Brass Caption Head in 2019.  We look forward to seeing where horn line goes under his leadership! Randall is a tuba player from Syracuse, NY. The goal of any marching organization is to promote personal growth within their membership, which makes our next announcement even more special. To gain a member following their DCI age out, climbing the ranks of your corps; from guard member to staff member is incredible personal growth. The White Sabers are extremely excited to announce their Show Coordinator for the 2020 season, John McFarland!  John has already demonstrated a vast amount of creativity and leadership with the team! John’s has a great amount of experience both in performance and in the Marching Arts; which include the Kiwanis Kavaliers, Santa Clara Vanguard, Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps and most recently Legends Drum and Bugle Corps. Meet the Percussion Caption Head!

The White Sabers are extremely excited to announce that Nick Liddie will be taking over the percussion caption for the 2020 season! Nick Liddie is a highly versatile and passionate musician, composer, and educator. Nick’s rich musical background and emotionally infused drumming renditions have led him to play alongside such acclaimed, path-breaking artists including, Grammy-nominated artist and songwriter, Carolyn Malachi, Jazz Harpist, Brandee Younger, as well as The Godfather of Neo Soul, Roy Ayers. Nick has performed as a snare drummer with the 2009 DCA Sunrisers, 2011 DCA Bushwackers, and 2012 WGI, United Percussion. Design Team 2020 The White Sabers Drum and Bugle Corps are excited to announce their design team for 2020!  Heading up the design team will be new comer John McFarland as Show Coordinator and Battery Arranger.  John is a new comer to the White Sabers team, but he has a wealth of experience both in performance and in the Marching Arts, which include the Kiwanis Kavaliers, Santa Clara Vanguard, Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps and most recently Legends Drum and Bugle Corps.
