The White Sabers Drum and Bugle Corps is dedicated to providing a variety of opportunities to engage our community both locally and across the North East region.
Our goal is to not only share our passion for the marching arts, but to also engage community members in an organization that allows them to grow as musicians, build bonds, and transcend barriers of language and culture through the art of performance/music.
Music is scientifically proven to enhance and stimulate our brains, and increase abilities in the STEM focuses. We provide opportunities for individuals of all ages to safely explore their musical and color guard creativity, while also helping keep them engaged in a positive recreational activity.
WINDS, PERCUSSION, COLOR GUARD CLINICS

The White Sabers continue to provide specialized clinics to mainly High School bands. Our clinics bring together students and corps members allowing for the students to learn from the White Sabers’ Staff and marching members. Students receive direction on improving their overall musical and technical skills, as well as enjoy the camaraderie of playing with the corps.
Our members model dedication, team work, perseverance, and commitment to something larger than oneself. In most instances, clinics communicate in a joined performance. In 2019, the Sabers joined Williamsport’s Marching Millionaires for the opening parade of the Little League World Series, in Williamsport, PA. The White Sabers have also combined with the Pembroke Dragons and Rochester public schools at the 6th Annual Drum Corps Invitational in Pembroke, NY.
Former and on-going relationships include: Arkport Central School District, Williamsport Marching Millionaires, Pembroke Central Schools, and Rochester Area Public School District.
Clinics have the potential to be full corps/band or by sections or sub-sections (winds, brass, flag, front ensemble, battery, etc.)
If your marching band, concert band, color guard, youth group, or other arts organization is interested in a clinic with the White Sabers, please contact Corps Director, Ben Chaffee, at thewhitesabers@gmail.com.
