2024 Season Round Up

We can hardly believe the 2024 inaugural season of DCI All-Age is in the books! The move to DCI All-Age certainly had (and still has) its doubters and I was even cautiously optimistic about the venture. Now that it is all said and done, I can safely argue that it was a brilliant move that transformed DCA into something even more grand! With this move, the White Sabers got to perform on the largest stage in our activity and did so with guts and grit. I am so proud of this group of people. Every person involved, from the administrative team, our design team and educational staff, our members, donors, and volunteers. Words can’t express my gratitude for everyone chipping in, doing their part, and realizing this incredible dream.

Takeaways from the season: 

• We took home the brass and general effect trophies in Open Class.

• The corps came in second place with a score of 86.775.

• The brass finished 4th overall, beating brass lines twice our size!

• The percussion placed 5th overall with a score of 18.3.

• All of the captions represented the corps extremely well, and I am very proud of the team of staff and members that made that happen!

Onward and upward to 2025! The team is already in discussions and plans are already being made!
