Design Team 2020
The White Sabers Drum and Bugle Corps are excited to announce their design team for 2020! Heading up the design team will be new comer John McFarland as Show Coordinator and Battery Arranger. John is a new comer to the White Sabers team, but he has a wealth of experience both in performance and in the Marching Arts, which include the Kiwanis Kavaliers, Santa Clara Vanguard, Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps and most recently Legends Drum and Bugle Corps.
Ben Chaffee will continue on as Brass Arranger, which will be his 15th season with the White Sabers! Ryan Reed will continue on as the Front Ensemble Arranger for the White Sabers and this will be his second with the group. Thomas Sparling will also be in his second season with the White Sabers as the lead Visual Designer. Another main stay with the Drum Corps over the last several seasons in various roles will be taking on the role of lead Color Guard Design is Kara Brown.
Caption Heads 2020
The White Sabers are extremely proud to announce our Caption Heads for the 2020 Season! This year’s staff will be lead by Joe Taylor as the Staff Coordinator. Continuing in his third season in the role of Ensemble Coordinator is Joseph Stork. The Brass Caption Head is in his third season with the White Sabers is Randall Bennett. Also in his third season with the corps is Joe Wormworth who will be serving as the Visual Caption Head. Nick Liddie is excited to take the reigns of the percussion section and we are proud to announce that he will serve as Percussion Caption Head this season! This season, in her first year as Caption Head, but not her first with the White Sabers is Kara Brown as the Color Guard Caption Head! This is an exciting time for the White Sabers with familiar faces taking on new roles and new talent taking the corps in new directions!
