After our successful 2019 season, the White Sabers are excited to welcome back some familiar faces within our administration, while also welcoming some new faces to the team. First, we are excited to announce that Ben Chaffee will stay on as the Corps Director for the 2020 season, utilizing his 21 years in the activity. Ben Chaffee has been with the White Sabers since 2001 and has served in many roles within the Drum Corps that include Brass Caption Head, Show Coordinator, Staff Coordinator and Brass Arranger.
Bill Snook will be returning to the White Sabers as an Administrative Advisor assisting the team with experience and information that will continue to help propel the drum corps forward!
Following a one year hiatus The White Sabers are extremely excited to welcome back Kendra Kissel who will serve as the corps Membership Coordinator and she will be assisted by long time White Saber Traci Morrow. These two form an outstanding duo and will be a major asset to the White Sabers 2020 season.
Noah Kelsey will also be returning to the White Sabers Administrative line-up in charge of communications and corps secretary; while Kira Parks will resume her role as Administrative Support and will assist the team with any and all needs for the drum corps.
Joining Traci Morrow as first year administration members include, Melissa Kawa and Katie Basu. Melissa Kawa will be in charge of coordinating the support team, while Katie Basu will head grant writing and corporate sponsorships.
Joe Taylor, who has decades of experience in the marching arts, has joined the team as this year’s Staff Coordinator. Joe has done a monster job with recruiting and putting together an exceptional staff for the 2020 season! There are still a few staff positions still open. While this rounds up our current administrative team, we will be adding more members in the coming months. Positions that are still pursuing, but not limited to, are Marketing Director, Quartermaster, Treasurer, Merchandising and additions to our recruiting team!
