FLXGives helps build awareness and support for nonprofits like nothing else. In 2020, nearly $160,000 was raised through 1282 donors benefiting over 80 local nonprofits.

As the only competitive drum corps in Upstate NY, members and staff come from all over the state, as well as Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New Jersey. Many of our members have come from local marching band programs such as Corning-Painted Post, Horseheads, Penn Yan, Hornell, and Dundee.
Members of The White Sabers have also gone on to march and teach at world class ensembles in Drum Corps International (DCI) and Winter Guard International (WGI), including The Cavaliers (Rosemont, IL), The Mandarins (Sacramento, CA), The Bluecoats (Canton, OH), RhythmX Winds (Dayton, OH), Pulse Percussion (San Dimas, CA), and United Percussion (Camden County, NJ).

FLXGives, an initiative of the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes, Inc., is a 24-hour online celebration of the Finger Lakes region. It connects generous community members with the causes they care most about. It is a day to celebrate all that the Finger Lakes are and the critical role nonprofits play in making our community great.
